Prior to the meeting, the members are requested to submit nominations to the Board of Directors at the meeting prior to the HamCom meeting and by email at any time before the election. In addition, nominations are taken from the floor during that meeting. This year required some adjustment to those procedures. All members were encouraged to submit nominations to any and or all of the board members before May 30, 2020. The Board of Directors has received no additional nominations prior to May 30, 2020. The Board of Directors of LSDXA has declared the nomination period closed and declares the following members elected to the new Board of Directors. This event has been a major source of funding for the LSDXA to support DXPeditions. The cost of sponsoring DXPeditions has not decreased and the number and level which we can support is dependent on the funds in our treasury. If you have already purchased tickets for the dinner, you have several options. You may elect to have all or part of your ticket funds converted to a donation to the club. If you intended to go to the dinner but had not yet purchased your tickets, please consider making a donation to the LSDXA to help us support DXPeditions in the coming year. If you were not going to attend the dinner, please consider making a donation to the club so we can pool your funds with those of the other members to support DXPeditions. If you DO NOT want a full refund of your ticket purchase, please send an email to our treasurer, Jim Westfall, NT5V (NT5V@sbcglobal.net). Otherwise refunds will begin by May 1, 2020. If you paid cash or sent in a check, a refund check will be mailed to you. If you paid by credit card, a refund will be posted to your account.
